Dr. Julianna Taylor
Dr. Taylor works at the Canal Road Animal Hospital, and is available to me and your pets.
She is also a recipient of its Veterinary Recognition Award. The award was established by PSI to honor veterinarians who have demonstrated a willingness to partner with other pet care professionals.
“Pet sitters are often the first to notice health problems with the animal they are caring for, so having a close relationship to a veterinarian is very important to their work,” said Patti Moran, president of PSI. “Sometimes a pet sitter and a veterinarian must partner in providing emergency treatment of an animal whose owner is on vacation or, for other reasons, is inaccessible. Even in non-emergency situations, owners often ask their pet sitters to recommend a veterinarian, so the pet sitter/veterinarian relationship benefits everyone: the pet sitter, the veterinarian, the owner and the animal.”
I nominated Dr. Taylor because being a professional pet sitter, I feel that having the support of local veterinarians is of great importance for the present and future success of our industry. After all, we are working for the same goal of happiness and health for our beloved pets. Dr. Taylor has gone above and beyond dedication to her field and has been a great support advocate to the pet sitting world.
Dr. Taylor personally trained me to administer insulin shots for your dogs and cats. Dr. Taylor has also graciously made herself available to me at any time if she needs assistance with diabetic pets.
